In March 2024, a number of students from the University of Washington Bothel (USA) and South East Technological University (Ireland) began an exchange programme, funded via Erasmus+ and facilitated through Teach CoLab.  

Rob O’Connor of SETU spoke with a number of the students about their attitudes and hopes for the exchange at the start of the process. This will be followed up another podcast at the end. On the panel were US Health Studies students Maya Nikolic and Andy Pham and Irish Health Promotion student Christina O’Reilly. Also in the studio was graduate Georgina Leahy who undertook a similar exchange in 2022. Georgina now works with the Youth Diversion programme The Sway Project.
